Description: The Building Footprint dataset forms part of the Launceston City Council Detail Survey Database (LCC DSDB). The purpose of this dataset is to give a general indication of building locations within the urban areas of the Launceston municipality. The data has been compiled over a number of years using mainly hand digitised 1:500 Detail Survey sheets drawn from field survey and subsequent field survey work.
